Why does this exist?
Here's the dirty secret of the "invoice app" world: most of these tools are great for about 30 seconds — right up until you hit the wall. You add your logo and it's Pro. You save a client and it's Pro. You try to download the PDF you just spent ten minutes building and — surprise — that's $15 a month, billed annually, cancel anytime (good luck finding the button).
That always felt backwards. A solo tradesperson making a couple of invoices a week shouldn't need a subscription to look professional. The actual work — the PDF, the math, the layout — is the easy part. So we built that easy part properly, made it gorgeous, bolted on an AI assistant that can price a job from a sentence, and then made a decision that surprises people:
